Our Mission

The mission of the Coalition of African American Voters (COAAV) is to create a forum for politicians, community activists, clergy, scholars, researchers, bloggers, students and voters to exchange ideas and develop solutions to solve the problem of black voter apathy. It is also a place designed to spread truths and dispel myths. The COAAV will use the e-newsletters of existing groups as well as create our own to help achieve this goal.

Our Service

We offer The African American Community a way to express their thoughts and views to representatives who are capable of answering questions about the voting process as well as keep you updated with current news, events, health topics and technology.

Using the Internet, electronic and print media, the COAAV will keep voters informed about issues that impact the African-American community. We encourage everyone who is committed to our mission to submit articles, editorials, opinions, term papers and videos “ anything that will inform or inspire African-Americans to get involved in the political process.

Our Vision

With African American organizations conjoined with COAAV networking, empowering, and sharing valuable information to and for our communities, our vision is to see every African-American adult registered and voting and working together to make change!
